art after stroke

These 5×7 images were created using my right arm to draw the lines, and my left hand to paint. It turned out to be very representative of my situation – the lines being neural pathways with large chunks blacked out from The Stoke. There is no right direction here … vertical, horizontal , flipped upside down … so I’ve shown some of these with more than one orientation. There are no two alike. Images are for sale unless otherwise noted. Contact me for information.

Up until The Stoke my artwork had been very photorealistic. Although I could appreciate it, I was never really able to grasp abstract art, having focused in realism at such a young age. Find my art before The Stroke, HERE.

It took more than a year for me to begin painting again. I just didn’t know how, or what, to paint. Until the Stroke of Inspiration. I had an idea that would become my first paintings. View these in the LINES tab below.
